Llandudno - Conwy
Llandudno is the largest seaside resort in Wales, and a very popular destination for visitors to this Victorian town. Accommodation in Llandudno is abundant, having said that, as it is such a popular desination, all the best place are booked early for the summer months. The Llandudno Bay on the north shore is an extensive sweep approximately 2 miles long of both sand and shingle between the prominent Great Orm and the Little Orm headlands. Llandudno Pier can also be found on the North Shore, closer to the Great Orm.
The West Shore whilst looking out to sea is on the edge of the River Conwy Estuary. This area tends to be a little quieter.
Naturally due to its popularity, Llandudno has an abundance of accommodation of all types with Grand Victorian Hotels and Guest houses being more prominent, and the town has an abundance of high street shops and smaller traditional seaside establishments.
Places to Visit are, The Great Orm, The Orm Tramway, The Great Orm Ancient Mines, The Victorian Pier and the Orm Cable Car.
